Thing 16~

I really enjoyed learning about how to organize information. As a teacher, there are tons of things happening all the time and being able to organize plans and data is a really great tool. I enjoyed making my own home page sort of thing with iGoogle. I like how now I have a place where everything is one area on my computer, I can look at the time, the calender, and my email updates all in one space, the way I do on my phone. It always felt like my computer just wasn't as updated as my phone but now they're pretty close.
I also really liked the online calender. I wanted to use Backpack but was disappointed that it wasn't free. While no calender is really free, I enjoy not paying for something my computer already has on it. However, the Backpack system did look really cool. I eventually chose the google calender. I like how most things connect with google now so having the same username and password and being able to access everything I need is very efficient.
As a bonus, I tried the Remember the Milk website. I normally have a little notebook planner for everything but normally forget to take it with me where I need to go (I need a planner to remember my planner I suppose). I liked how I could access it from my phone and how it can sync with different things, so now I have it with me everywhere (definitely don't forget my phone) I think that having something with all of my ideas and grocery lists and the other plethora of stuff I need to remember all the time is great. Especially in the future when I have to remember even more things~!
